We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Motorhome Mechanic to join our team. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive inspections of motorhomes to identify mechanical issues and safety concerns
- Perform repairs and maintenance on various systems including engines, brakes, electrical systems, plumbing, and interior fittings
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs and installations
- Troubleshoot mechanical problems accurately and efficiently, providing solutions that adhere to manufacturer specifications
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts utilised for each vehicle
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and industry standards
- Assist in the diagnosis of complex mechanical faults through testing procedures
- Keep the workshop clean, organised, and safe at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience or strong knowledge of vehicle mechanics, preferably within the motorhome or recreational vehicle sector but not essential.
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail when documenting work carried out
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Relevant technical qualifications or certifications in vehicle maintenance or mechanics are desirable but not essential
- A valid UK driving licence is preferred due to potential vehicle movement requirements
Pay: £26,110.12-£30,000.00 per year
